A little less wisdom
Well I finally had my wisdom teeth out yesterday. Probably something I should have had done years ago but you know… Plus it was time to do it while I’m still covered under the excellent health plan of my former employer which runs out in July. The same reason I picked up a couple pairs of glasses that I’ve been putting off for a long time as well.
All in all the process was pretty much a non-issue. I went in at 2pm and I was out by 2:15. though not before I heard the nurse say ‘Did I get that right?’ about my IV and having the doctor correct it a few times. My arm makes me look like a heroin addict.
On the plus side my arm hurts worse than my teeth and I have pretty much no swelling. Other than some mild soreness when I open my mouth too wide and the fact that I’m craving a cheeseburger that I just can’t have it feels like any other day.
This weekend marks the start of the 2007 F1 season with the Melbourne, Australia race. A bunch of us are getting together to watch it even though it starts at 23:30 as well as to celebrate a birthday. Long live the Schumi-less F1! Here’s hoping it’ll be an interesting season.
Some other potential news is pending, I’ll know more tomorow. Stay tuned!
Days until the Miata is back: 31

Dude, 15 minutes!!!Were the teeth exposed??? I got all stoned up and spent like an hour there, and the doc had a very tiny, but functional jackhammer to smash mine up, and scrape the bits outta my face. Sucky, specially when bike helmet straps rubbed on it in the woods later that day…and got dehydrated…….whoa, that day sucked.

Man I was in for like an hour with mine, they were growing out sideways trying to leave through my cheeks… Pain had me knocked on my ass for at least two days.
